As a dermatology PA, I work under Dr. David Corallo’s supervision to diagnose and treat a vast number of skin, hair and nail conditions and diseases. 我可以开处方, perform biopsies and educate patients on their diagnoses, as well as work on prevention of skin cancers through regular screenings and sun safety.

I completed my undergraduate education at Mount Union and saw how the program thrived within the first year. I decided to apply for the second PA class. The beautiful campus was my home for the previous four years, and the program was a great fit for me.

Every experience while in PA school was helpful in some way – whether it was learning time management to complete all your assignments, making mistakes while performing exams or dealing with difficult patients during clinical rotations. Mount Union helped to prepare me for my job as a PA by giving me a well-rounded education. I knew I wanted to work in dermatology, and they helped me to get clinical rotations in dermatology, which eventually led to my job offer with Dr. Corallo.

Soon after graduating from PA school, I started volunteering with the PA program by helping proctor the testing of students. I also help interview prospective PA students.
